Land Division

Land Divisions require certification from the County Treasurer that all taxes have been paid for the preceding five years, pursuant to the Land Division Act 228 of 1967, MCL 560.109(1)(i).

The following is required for a Land Division:

  • Complete the Land Division Tax Certification Request
  • $5 fee for each parcel being tax certified
  • Completed Land Division Tax Certification Form may be mailed to:  Oceana County Treasurer,  PO Box 227, Hart, MI 49420 along with a check payable to Oceana County Treasurer.
  • You may also email the completed form to treas@oceana.mi.us. The fee can be paid using a debit or credit card.
