Oceana County Public Notice – Establishment of Early Voting Site
To all Qualified Electors in Oceana County
Notice is hereby given by resolution of the Oceana County Election Commission under authority granted in Public Act 81 of 2023, that the location of the early voting site for all federal and statewide election dates will be the following:
Oceana County Courthouse
100 State Street
Hart, MI 49420
Dates and times:
No early voting for May 7, 2024 Election – Absentee Ballots are available through Pentwater Twp Clerk, Maureen Murphy, 231-869-6231.
Saturday, July 27, 2024 to August 4, 2024, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Saturday, October 26, 2024 to November 3, 2024, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Early voting allows Oceana County registered voters to come into the courthouse and vote by marking a ballot and placing it in the tabulator just like you would on election day.
2024 Election Dates
May 7, 2024 Special Election (NO EARLY VOTING)
*Pentwater Public Schools Bond Proposal – All voters will vote at Pentwater Twp Hall, 500 N. Hancock St., Pentwater, MI 49449 (voters from Mason County in Riverton and Summit Townships and voters from Oceana County in Pentwater and Weare)
*Holton Public Schools Operating Millage Renewal Proposal (only voters in Oceana County in Greenwood and Otto townships that are in the Holton School District)
August 6, 2024 Primary Election
November 5, 2024 General Election
Filing Forms
- Precinct Delegate Affidavit of Identity and Receipt of Filing (fillable form) File by May 7, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. with your County Clerk
- Petitions for township offices should be picked up from your township clerk.
- Petitions for county offices should be picked up from your county clerk.
