Seeking Volunteers for the Multi-County Materials Management Planning Committee
Posted:The Oceana County Board of Commissioners is looking for individuals to volunteer for four (4) positions on the Multi-County Material Management Planning Committee. The Board of Commissioners will make these appointments at its upcoming session on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at 11:30 a.m.
Individuals interested in applying should apply online at https://oceana.mi.us/doing-business/job-opportunities. Interested parties may alternatively submit a letter of interest and resume, including home address, to the Oceana County Administrator’s office, Attention: Appointments, 100 S. State Street, Hart, Michigan 49420. Letters and resumes may also be submitted via email to countyadmin@oceana.mi.us, or via fax at (231)873-5914.
Those resumes received by Monday, September 16, 2024 will be submitted to the Board of Commissioners for its consideration on September 26, 2024. The appointments will become effective January 1, 2025.
The Oceana County Board of Commissioners is seeking individuals interested in serving on the multi-county Materials Management Planning Committee for the following positions:
- An elected official of a city or village.
- Two representatives from a business that generates managed materials.
- An elected official of the county or a municipality
