County Clerk

The County Clerk is an elected position, serving a four-year term. The Clerk is responsible for the issuing and filing of marriage licenses, keeping records of births and deaths, assumed names and co-partnerships, concealed weapons permits, veterans discharge forms, notary bonds, and filings for circuit court and circuit court jurors. The Clerk administers all election functions required by law and trains all election inspectors within the county.
