What is the Oceana County Land Bank Authority?
The Oceana County Land Bank was established through Oceana County Commissioners Board Action on September 20, 2011. After the establishment of the Oceana County Land Bank an Intergovernmental Agreement was entered into with the Michigan Land Bank Fast Track Authority on July 15, 2010.
What is the Land Bank Authority’s mission?
The mission of the Land Bank Authority is to acquire, manage, maintain and repurpose vacant, abandoned, and foreclosed properties – the worst abandoned houses, forgotten buildings and empty lots.
