News from the Oceana County Economic Alliance. As we begin to emerge from the effects of COVID-19, it’s important for our communities to promote shopping local. When you shop locally, you help create jobs for our businesses that in turn fuel our local economy. Buying from a locally owned business conserves energy and resources in the form of less fuel for transportation (i.e., avoids driving to Muskegon or Ludington). Local business owners know you, and you know them so let’s get behind “Shop Oceana.”
