The Oceana County Transfer Station and Recycling Center is located in Ferry Township on M-20, 5.5 miles east of Oceana Drive. The facility is open Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM to serve Oceana County residents.
The Transfer Station accepts both residential and commercial trash, as well as recyclable materials. Please see below for a list of accepted items and associated fees.

Non-Compliance
Individuals found in violation of the Transfer Station’s disposal guidelines listed above will be subject to an additional $20.00 surcharge.
Recycling
All patrons of the Oceana County Transfer Station and Recycling Center are encouraged to separate and recycle appropriate materials to help reduce costs, conserve landfill space, and preserve natural resources.
Household Hazardous Waste
The Oceana County Transfer Station and Recycling Center does not accept hazardous waste. Oceana County hosts an annual Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day on the third Saturday in August at the Hart Department of Public Works (1010 S. State St., Hart, MI 49420) from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
